If the number of approved entries exceeds the number of places available\, Part I – General Rules Applying to All Competitions\, Section 5 will apply.\nFormat\ni) The County Championship is a two-day event. All competitors will play a 36-hole qualifier on the first day. The players finishing first\, second\, third and fourth after the 36-hole qualifier\, will enter the match play knockout stage for the overall Championship played over the second day. DESCRIPTION:  \nQualifications\ni) Each golf club affiliated to MIDDLESEX GOLF may enter one or more teams of two or three competitors (male\, female or mixed).\nii) Entrants must be under the age of 18 at 00:00 hours on 1st January preceding the Championship.\niii) On the date that their entry for the Championship is submitted\, competitors must hold a handicap of 36.4 or lower. Players with handicaps greater than the limit may not enter.\nMaximum Entry\nEach affiliated club has the right to enter at least one team. There is no maximum number of teams that a club can enter. However;\ni) There will be a maximum of 72 players. If more than 72 players enter AND each club entered is only represented with one team\, the competitors will be based on a first come first serve basis.\nii) If the maximum of 72 players is exceeded and a club(s) have multiple teams entered\, the club(s) with the most teams entered must withdraw a team(s) of their choice.\n1.3 Format\ni) The Championship is an 18-hole stableford competition\, played off handicap allowance. The team’s score will comprise of the two best scores of the three competitors over the 18 holes.\nii) Players are free to choose the set of tees they play from but they must play from a set of tees that have been rated for their gender.\niii) Players may employ a caddie\, but the caddie must be under the age of 18 on the day of the Championship.\niv) The Committee reserves the right to prevent a person from being employed or continuing to be employed as a caddie if the competitor is unable to verify that the caddie meets the term above by providing verification from the Secretary \nPlease see Middlesexgolf website for full Terms of Competition

DESCRIPTION:Sign up HERE.  \n  \nMIDDLESEX GOLF Mixed Open Championship\nQualifications\ni) This competition is open to any golfer (with or without MIDDLESEX GOLF affiliation) with a handicap limit of 28.4 for men and 36.4 for women. Part I\, section 2 entry requirements do not apply.\niii) A pair must consist of one male and one female.\nMaximum Entry\nThe maximum number of competitors is 64. If the number of approved entries exceeds the number of places available\, Part I – General Rules Applying to All Competitions\, Section 5 will apply.\nFormat\nThe Championship is an 18-hole Four-ball Better Ball stableford played off handicap. The pair’s score will comprise of the best stableford score of the two competitors on each of the 18 holes.\nOrder of Play\nOrder of play will be arranged by the County Secretary or Competition Organiser.\nPrizes and Vouchers\ni) The winning pair will be the one with the highest aggregate stableford score over the 18 holes\, with the best score of the two scores counting on each hole.\nii) The winning pair will receive the trophy. The winning pair will also receive a memento to retain and a voucher.\niii) The runners-up will receive a voucher.
