Club Delegate
Overall Purpose of the role
Facilitating effective communication between your club and Middlesex Golf by acting as the point of contact between the two bodies, attending the General Meetings and the Annual General Meeting and voting on behalf of your club and its members.
Who makes a good Club Delegate?
- Possess a working knowledge of your club, Middlesex Golf, and their priorities.
- A willingness to get involved and make a difference.
- Well-developed communication skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- An individual who is visible, well known and plays an active role in their own club
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Actively engage with all other Delegates to understand the issues in all parts of the game and across the county.
- Be able to represent the views of your club and Middlesex Golf without bias
- Seek the mandate of your Club and to vote accordingly at any Middlesex General Meeting or Annual General Meeting.
