Middlesex travelled to The Millbrook Golf Club in Bedfordshire for the England Golf SE Group 6 Man Team event. They battled with teams from BB&O, Bedfordshire, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, Suffolk, Surrey and Sussex. Kent emerged victorious with score of level par, pipping BB&O by one stroke. Our team was represented by County Champion Justin Phelps from Northwood GC, Will Orridge from Enfield GC, Dan Parsons and Niall Keogh from Sudbury GC, Craig O’Shea from Ashford Manor GC and Freddie Tucker from Highgate GC. The fairways were very dry due to the current drought, which made for difficult scoring for our boys. A special mention to Will Orridge, who, despite injuring his back mid-way round the afternoon round, managed to complete his round to ensure that we registered a score.
