After a testing 1st Round, Joe found himself tied for the lead after a respectable 75.
The weather closed in for Round 2 causing play to be abandoned. With more rain and wind due for round 3 all the pins were cut on the high points, it ensured the 6,900 yard layout was playing at its most difficult.
The result only one senior player broke 80.
Joe duly obliged with possibly one of the greatest rounds played this year in the northern hemisphere.
A score of 70, gave him the victory, plus welcomed him into the WAGR.
