There was a very impressive turnout of 58 of the Counties finest Junior golfers on display at Enfield Golf Club on Monday 28th October. Jack Manders from Ashford Manor GC wins the U16 Championship at Enfield Golf Club with an impressive score of 76. Three were players tied for 2nd place but Harry Dagger from Enfield GC was Runner-Up on Countback, with an impressive back nine of 35 shots.
The Handicap winner was Alfred Pouncett from Muswell Hill GC wit an impressive round of nett 66. Ben Magowan from Strawberry Hill GC was Runner-Up in the Handicap event with a nett 68. Great golf from two promising juniors.
Well done to Amora Rahul from Muswell Hill GC who was nearest the pin on 14 and to Oscar Money, also from Strawberry Hill GC, for nearest the pin on 6.
Well done to all players. You are a credit to your clubs, your Junior Organisers and your parents!
Lastly, a huge thanks to Kevin Whitehouse & the team at Enfield Golf Club. The course was in superb condition, despite the recent monsoon season and all golfers complimented the presentation, especially the greens. The hospitality was first class as always and the players and volunteers all loved the catering. Thanks Enfield, we’ll definitely see you again next year!
