Our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and more helpful for the running of the Junior Championships. The course was in fabulous condition and set up fairly for all competitors. Well done to the greens team! 27 players took part and all enjoyed the course and the hospitality from the club. SHGC even provided sunshine for most of the day!
Our U13 AND U14 Champion is Henry Bucys from Ashford Manor Golf Club. Henry shot a fantastic round of 70 in tricky conditions on firm but smooth greens. Our U10 Champion is Diego Fernandes from Ealing Golf Club.
Other winners on the day were, (in no particular order) Emma Deal, Cairbre Smith French, Jade Wimalarathna, Toby Chahrvin, Aadi Ghatalia and Aayan Moorthy.
Next Junior events are the U18/21/35 Eamonn Kneafsey Championship at Muswell Hill on 24th July and the U16 Championships at North Middlesex GC on 30th October.Â
However, there are also many Junior Opens at lots of Middlesex Golf Clubs. These are great way to play new courses and to meet new friends. Check the Fixture list on the Middlesexgolf website, (click HERE for details)
