The Men’s Seniors team played their final League game of the season against Essex at a dry and crusty Romford…our target was to get enough points to overtake Beds in the table and hope Herts did us a favour in their final match against Beds…So, we had another hard fought game on our hands with Essex running out 6½ v 3½ winners… Middlesex wins from debutant Patrick Walsh, Norman Shiels and Nick Clarke and a half from newly crowned Middlesex Seniors Champion, Simon Westgarth accounted for our tally. However, all was not lost as Herts subsequently beat Beds 8-2 which lifted us off the bottom of the table… A big thanks to all the players for their efforts this year…roll on 2026!!
