Old rivals but good pals, Ealing GC took on Sudbury GC in the Final of the President’s Foursomes at Stanmore GC on Sunday 21st September. The match was very close as you would expect from 2 of the Counties finest scratch teams. Each side had won one match each and the final game went to the 18th with Sudbury one up. Ealing just came up shy with their birdie attempt, leaving Sudbury only requiring a par to tie the hole and win the match. A deft green-side bunker shot from Dan Parsons meant that Sudbury’s par was sufficient to secure victory for Niall Keogh’s side. Commiserations for a brave battling Ealing team of Ross Brabender, Neil Lambourne, Harshiv Sharma, Greg Evans & Connor Higgins.
