The Course was set up tough but fair for the prestigious Fulwell Scratch Open. A full field battled tough winds and hard fast fairways for the first prize.Â
At the end of 36 holes there were 2 players tied at 146. Richlings Park’s Terry Green and Billingbear’s Ben McFadden. It took SIX extra holes to separate the players but Ben eventually emerged as 2026 champion. Well played Ben.
As ever, Murray and the team put on a superb competition. The course was in great shape and the legendary Fulwell hospitality was welcomed by all competitors. See you all again next year.
