The Middlesex Mid Amateur Championship was hosted by Wyke Green. Our champion for 2024 is Justin Phelps of Northwood, for the third year in succession. What a fabulous performance. Justin just pipped Wyke Green’s Joe Smith in a topsy turvy tussle.
The nett winner was Paul Saward and Runner-up was Jonny Bramley, both also from Wyke Green.
Local knowledge was very evident on the day with Wyke Green also winning the team element of the competition.
Thanks to Michael and the team at Wyke Green for being superb hosts. The course was in fantastic shape with the greens running at 12 on the stimp. The food was first class and we received a friendly welcome from everyone.Â
