WOMEN’S COUNTY MATCH WEEK is underway at Worthing Golf Club, hosted by Sussex.
DAY 1 Sussex 5 Middlesex 0: Kent 3 Surrey 2. Hampshire 3 Sussex 2. Surrey 5 Middlesex 0.
DAY 2 Middlesex 0 Kent 5. Surrey vs Hampshire. Middlesex ½ Hampshire 4½. Sussex 2 Kent 3.
DAY 3. Surrey vs Sussex. Kent vs Hampshire
So, although Middlesex only managed a half point over 4 matches the results don’t tell the full story. Many of the matches went deep into the rounds and our girls battled with grit, determination and spirit. They are so close and determined to do better next year. Thanks to Team Manager Michael Bryant for his hard work & dedication to the team and to the battle. Thanks also to Emily Perry and Martin Robinson for being on hand to advise on strategy.Â
The overall winners are Kent with 8 match points.
Middlesex 0 pts: Sussex 2pts: Surrey 4pts: Hampshire 6 points: Kent 8 pts.
Thanks also to Sussex for flawless organisation and a huge shout out to Worthing Golf Club for hosting. The course played tough but was in excellent shape. Thanks to the members for giving up the excellent Colt Course.
