The 2025 county boys (U14/U16) trials took place at West Middlesex Golf Club on Sunday. An excellent field of 28 players contested a medal round with 11 different Middlesex clubs represented. Our county chairman announced the players to the tee and the boys sent off some impressive drives in front of a large crowd.
We witnessed some excellent golf with Oscar Tierney from Pinner Hill continuing his impressive season recording the lowest gross score. Most importantly we met many new players and their families and gave them the opportunity to engage in the county golf environment. Elite and Development squad selections will be announced after the U16 Championships at Enfield on October 28th. A massive thank you to West Middlesex Golf Club and Giulio from the excellent North London Golf Academy in Greenford for sponsoring our day.
