The 2026 PEARSON FINALS were held at Enfield Golf club on Thursday 18th June. The weather was a warm and muggy and the course was in excellent shape.
The first semi-final was between Highgate and North Middlesex. The matches were close but North Middlesex ran out winners by 3½ to 1½.
The second semi-final saw Pinner Hill GC take on Grims Dyke GC. Once again, the matches were close but Grims Dyke eventually ran out winners by 3½ to 1½.
On to the final between North Middlesex and Grims Dyke. This was tight tussle for the first 9 holes, but Grims Dyke began to break away on the back nine, running out comfortable winners by 4½ to ½. Grims Dyke will now go on to represent Middlesex in the Inter-County Finals at Sundridge Park Golf Club in Kent on 15th July. Spectators are most welcome to come and support!
Well done to all of the players, it’s a great achievement to reach the finals. The games were played in super spirit as most of these girls know each other from previous battles.
Thanks also to Enfield Golf Club for giving up their course, which is in lovely condition, and for providing such tasty food. Club Captain Kathryn Tiddy was our starter and couldn’t have been more helpful.
Thanks to Pearson Chairman, Wendy Durrant, who came to Enfield to witness some excellent golf and present the prizes.
Thanks also to the refereesÂ
Thanks to all of the players and caddies who make this event such a success.
Lastly, but definitely not least, a massive thanks to our Pearson Organiser, Heather Wood. Heather has worked tirelessly throughout the season and was also responsible to running the final at Enfield. The events don’t just happen. Heather’s hard work attention to detail made sure that the day ran like clockwork and was a huge success!!
See you all at Sundridge Park!
