The 2026 Women’s Spring Meeting was held at Sudbury Golf Club on a gorgeous Spring day. The course was in splendid condition and we had a full field for this ever popular event.
The winner of the prestigious Laidlay Shield was Grims Dyke GC, represented by Jo Lassman and Tracy Gorb. The Grims Dyke girls narrowly pipped Enfield’s Kathryn Tiddy and Carey Labdon.
The winner of the Silver Division is Gill Mannion from Pinner Hill GC with an impressive 35 points. Also on 35 points was Kathryn Tiddy, but lost out on Count-back to Gill. Jo Lassman was third.
Our Bronze Division Champion is Nilgun Ayrancioglu from North Middlesex GC with a stupendous 39 points. Runner up was Marion Hill from Stanmore GC with an impressive 36 points. Tracy Gorb from Grims Dyke GC took 3rd place, also with 36 points but lost out on count-back.
The winner of the higher handicap Bronze Division is Yoko Williams from North Middlesex GC.
Sudbury presented the course in fabulous condition and Joe and the team were fantastic hosts as ever. What a great start to the season!
