The day began with cooler temperatures and a light rain, which was a welcome change from the recent drought and hot muggy conditions. The course was in fine shape despite the lack of recent rain and the welcome from the club was very friendly.
The scoring was fabulous and the women quickly adapted to the conditions in this 4BBB Stableford format.
In third place were Morag Collier and Deborah Warwick from North Middlesex GC with a stunning haul of 45 points. Runners Up are Arlene Bailey and Noreen Mullally, aslo from North Middlesex GC, with 48 points. However, our champions for 2025 are Lorraine Brier and Jo Lassman from Grims Dyke GC, with a stupendous 49 points. Great golf from all of our competitors.
A special thanks to Graeme and the Team at Wyke Green for looking after us so well. The greens team should also be commended. The players commented on how good the putting surfaces were. Well done & thanks!
