Frank Rowse Trophy finals
The Frank Rowse Trophy Final was contested between Northwood Golf Club and Fulwell Golf Club on Sunday 14th September. The match was hosted by Sudbury Golf Club.
The morning Foursomes began in bright sunshine. Honours were even at lunch. The weather began to worsen from mid-afternoon as a very tight match neared conclusion. Fulwell managed to snatch victory with an overall score of 6½ to 5½. The match was played in great spirit and there was some quality golf on show, as you would expect from this level of golfers.
Thanks as ever, to Joe and the team at Sudbury for looking after everyone so well and presenting the players with a course in excellent condition, despite the summer drought.
