Middlesex 2nd Team fixture v Surrey
Middlesex team – Christine Tyler, Marie Bowen, Louise Tulip, Elaine Cole, Many Miller and Angela He.
Surrey fielded a team of very talented juniors against Middlesex and we continue to marvel at the strength and depth they can draw on.
The morning foursomes saw Surrey take all the points – Mandy and Marie lost 4&5, Louise and Angela lost 3&5, Christine and Elaine lost 6&7.
Whilst the afternoon singles saw all the points go to Surrey, each match was hard fought and one was taken to the 18th! The singles scores were Mandy 2&4, Marie 2&3, Christine 4&6, Louise 1&3, Elaine 5&6 and Angela 1 down.
Highgate was in good shape despite no rain and as always we were well catered for. Huge thanks for hosting. Also, special thanks to Angela He, Highgate member who played in place of the injured Liz Kynoch.
