Pinner Hill kindly hosted the Women’s Scratch 5-a-Side Finals for 2026.
DIVISION 1 saw the might of Muswell take on the Fearless Finchley Fighters. As you would expect, this was a tight tussle with many matches going deep. Finchley eventually ran out winners 3½ to 1½. This caps an incredible rise by the girls in green from Division 3 to Champions in three short years. And, with a young side thy could be dominant for some years to come. Well done Katie & the entire Team. So, Finchley are our champions for 2026. Congratulations!
DIVISION 2 saw Sudbury paired with Enfield. Sudbury got their noses in front early and never looked back, running out winners by 4-1. Sudbury are promoted to Division 1 for the 2027 season. Congratulations!
DIVISION 3 saw Northwood battle with Ealing for the race to Division 2. Again, this was tense affair but Northwood edged in front and eventually managed to clinch victory in three matches to clinch promotion. The remaining matches on the course were conceded and the score recorded as a 3-2 win for Northwood. The girls from Northwood will be playing their golf in Division 2 next year. Congratulations!
Pinner were the most fantastic hosts’ giving up their course on a busy Sunday for 15 matches. The food was fabulous and plentiful. Thanks Phil! Thanks to House Manager Graham and thanks to Clair Walker for organising. All of the players had a super day!
