Our final Middlesex Senior friendly match was on 31st August Away against Surrey Golf Union
We played at Effingham Golf Club on a day that was forecast to constantly rain but ended up, thankfully, being just a few showers. Captains luck perharps – but could that bring us victory…….
The course was in good condition, the greens true but slow and the match ended up a very friendly 2-2 draw.
The food and hospitality were first class.
Thank you to everyone who played this season and during the last 4 yrs.
I am handing over the reins to Carolyn Matthews but have throughly enjoyed my time as captain.
